Project and Execution Engineer

Job Summary


Responsible for the end-to-end execution of engineering projects including planning, coordination, cost control, and commissioning management. Manages project scope, schedules, and resources to deliver within budget, timeline, and quality requirements. Acts as the central coordination point across engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans from kick-off through to close-out.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, progress tracking reports, earned value analysis, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support design review activities, document reviews, and technical clarification management.
  • Manage FAT, IFAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities including punch-list resolution and handover documentation.  
  • Perform risk assessments, change management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, client standards, and HSE obligations.
  • Oversee site activities, installation supervision, and startup support as required.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, milestone updates, and risk registers for internal and client stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanical, or Project Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of project engineering or project coordination experience in oil and gas, power, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
  • Proficiency with project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience managing FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover activities is required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and cost control skills.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontractors.
  • Solid understanding of FAT, SAT, and commissioning processes.
  • Risk management and change control expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
