Job Summary |
Responsible for inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations in an industrial or project-based environment. Ensures accurate stock records, efficient material flow, and proper storage and preservation of materials including electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical items.
Job Description and Responsibilities |
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and material issuing and receiving activities.
- Maintain accurate stock records and execute all inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, preservation, and segregation of materials including electrical, instrumentation, and consumable items.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks.
- Prepare and issue material issue vouchers, goods receipt notes, and delivery documents.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and workshop teams for material requirements and status updates.
- Report inventory discrepancies, slow-moving stock, and surplus materials to the procurement lead.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, housekeeping, and documentation standards.
Basic Qualifications |
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory control in an industrial or project environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP or equivalent (Odoo experience is an advantage).
- Knowledge of storage and preservation requirements for electrical and instrumentation materials is preferred.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES |
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of material handling, storage, and preservation practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy in stock records.
- Familiarity with goods receipt and issue documentation requirements.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation material types is an advantage.
